The full name of Rumi is Jalal al-Din Muhammad Rumi. He is a Persian poet. He is also a Maturidi theologian, Hanafi faqih, and Sufi mystic. He was born on 30th September 1207 and died on 17th December 1273. He was from Greater Khorasan in Greater Iran.
